...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM PDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...South winds 25 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.

* WHERE...Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.

* WHEN...Until 2 AM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. 
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, 
  especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest wind gusts between 55 to 60 mph 
  are expected along the base and slopes of the Northern Blue 
  Mountains, with 45 to 55 mph wind gusts expected across the rest 
  of the northern Blue Mountain foothills.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and 
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution 
if you must drive.
