...HIGH WIND WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH 
LATE TUESDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...West winds 40 to 50 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible.

* WHERE...The South Plains and portions of the far southern Texas 
  Panhandle.

* WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon through late Tuesday night.

* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property and 
  cause power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for 
  high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Widespread blowing dust is possible which may 
  result in significant visibility reductions and poor air quality.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Fasten loose objects or shelter objects in a safe location prior to 
the onset of winds.

Travelers should be prepared to alter plans on Tuesday due to the 
potential for difficult travel conditions.
