COUNTIES...
At 840 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles south of
Pittsboro, moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Crosswinds Boating Center, Jordan Lake State Rec Area, Pittsboro,
Seaforth Boat Dock, Bynum, Crosswinds Campground, Moncure, Shearon
Harris Reservoir, Fearrington, and Holly Springs.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
