Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...Tallapoosa River at US 78 near Tallapoosa.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 20 feet, Minor flooding expands further into the
woodlands and fields along the river upstream and downstream from
the gage on U.S. Highway 78. The flood waters will be up to 4 feet
deep in some locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:00 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 19.8 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 6:00 PM EDT Sunday was 20 feet.
