HOLMES AND NORTHEASTERN HUMPHREYS COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...
The tornadic thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out
of the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for central and
north central Mississippi.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM CDT FOR WEST
CENTRAL CARROLL AND CENTRAL LEFLORE COUNTIES...
At 1142 PM CDT, a confirmed large and extremely dangerous tornado was
located over Itta Bena, or 8 miles west of Greenwood, moving
northeast at 45 mph.
This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!
HAZARD...Damaging tornado.
SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado.
IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may
be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes
will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes,
businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete destruction
is possible.
