* WHAT...South winds 30 to 40 kt with gusts up to 55 kt and seas 
  12 to 17 ft expected.

* WHERE...The coastal waters from Oregon Inlet to Ocracoke Inlet.

* WHEN...From 10 AM to 9 PM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Storm force winds and hazardous seas will capsize or 
  damage vessels and reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong south winds will develop ahead of a
  cold front on Wednesday, and last into Wednesday evening. A line
  of thunderstorms associated with the front will lead to areas of
  enhanced wind gusts.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should remain in port, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for severe conditions.
