...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 11 PM MST 
TUESDAY...
...DENSE FOG ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT 8 AM MST THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...North winds 35 to 55 mph with gusts up to 70 mph expected.

* WHERE...Cheyenne and Kit Carson Counties.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to 11 PM MST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property and 
  cause power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for 
  high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The Dense Fog Advisory that was in place for 
  Cheyenne and Kit Carson counties has been allowed to expire as 
  conditions are improving. Some localized patches of dense fog is 
  still possible for the next 30 minutes or so however. Blowing snow 
  is also possible with the High
  Winds which could lead to white out conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Fasten loose objects or shelter objects in a safe location prior to 
the onset of winds.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high 
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

* WHEN...From 2 AM MST /3 AM CST/ to 11 PM MST /midnight CST/ 
  Tuesday.

LATE TUESDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...North winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Kansas and 
  southwest Nebraska.

* WHEN...From Tuesday morning through late Tuesday night.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous travel conditions, especially on routes that 
  run from west to east, such as Interstate 70, Highway 36 and 
  Highway 40, where cross winds will be strongest. High winds may 
  also move loose debris, damage property and cause power outages.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Blowing snow is also possible with the High 
  Winds which could lead to white out conditions.
