...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 10 PM
EST THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from 10 AM this morning to 10 PM EST 
this evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...In North Carolina, Robeson, Bladen, Columbus, 
  Inland Pender, Coastal Pender, Inland New Hanover, Coastal New 
  Hanover, Inland Brunswick and Coastal Brunswick. In South 
  Carolina, Marlboro, Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Marion, 
  Williamsburg, Coastal Horry, Inland Georgetown, Coastal 
  Georgetown, Central Horry and Northern Horry.

* TIMING...From 10 AM this morning to 10 PM EST this evening.

* WINDS...West 10 to 20 mph with gusts 30 to 40 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...15 to 25 percent.

* TEMPERATURES...Low to mid 70s.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread 
  quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures will
create explosive fire growth potential.
