At 951 AM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line extending from near Easton to 8 miles west of Bridgewater to 7 miles southeast of Smyrna Mills, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Flash freeze on roads. Whiteout conditions with near zero visibility associated with intense bursts of heavy snow and gusty winds leading to blowing snow. Wind gusts greater than 35 mph. SOURCE...Radar, ground observations and webcams. IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous within minutes. This includes the following highways... Interstate 95 between mile markers 280 and 304. US Highway 1 between Cary and Mars Hill. Locations impacted include...
