* WHAT...For the Extreme Cold Warning, dangerously cold wind chills 
  as low as 35 below. For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind 
  chills as low as 26 below expected.

* WHERE...Benton, Cedar, Iowa, Johnson, Jones, Linn, Buchanan, 
  Delaware, and Dubuque Counties.

* WHEN...For the Extreme Cold Warning, until noon CST today. For the 
  Cold Weather Advisory, from 6 PM this evening to noon CST 
  Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero 
  could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes. 
  Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is 
  exposed to these temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must 
go outside.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
