Virginia...
James River At Scottsville affecting Fluvanna, Albemarle and
Buckingham Counties.
Roanoke (Staunton) River at Randolph affecting Charlotte and
Halifax Counties.
For the Middle James...including Scottsville...Minor flooding is
forecast.
For the Roanoke River...including Randolph...Minor flooding is
forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:15 PM EST Monday was 21.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 12.0 feet
