The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a

* Snow Squall Warning for...
  Southeastern Scotts Bluff County in the Panhandle of Nebraska...
  Northwestern Morrill County in the Panhandle of Nebraska...
  Northeastern Banner County in the Panhandle of Nebraska...

* Until 600 PM MST.

* At 543 PM MST, a dangerous snow squall was located over
  Scottsbluff, moving east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to 
           blowing snow and visibility rapidly falling to less than 
           one-quarter mile. Wind gusts up to 35 mph.

  SOURCE...Radar and webcams.

  IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous 
           within minutes.

Including Highway 26 in Nebraska.

Locations impacted include...
Scottsbluff, Gering, Bayard, Terrytown, Minatare, Melbeta, McGrew,
Wildcat Hills State Recreation Area, Lake Minatare State Recreation
Area, Lake Alice Number 2, Scotts Bluff National Monument, Chimney
Rock National Historic Site, Hubbard Hill, Scottsbluff Airport,
Wrights Gap, Moomaw Corner, and South Bayard Junction.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow Down! Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions are
expected with this dangerous snow squall. Be alert for sudden
whiteout conditions.

Reduce speed and turn on headlights! During snow squalls, the
visibility may suddenly drop to near zero in whiteout conditions.
