...EXTREME COLD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 
NOON CST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 29 below expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, and 
  northeast Kansas.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to noon CST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 29 below zero 
  could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 20 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Cover all exposed skin and dress in layers, including a hat, face 
mask, and gloves if you must go outside.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure 
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills 
inside.
