EVENING...

* WHAT...West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 50 to 60 mph expected.

* WHERE...Portions of DC, central, north central, northeast, 
  northern, and southern Maryland, and northern and northwest 
  Virginia.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM EST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. 
  Power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially 
  for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest wind gusts are expected through 
  the mid evening. Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph may linger at times 
  through Monday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
