...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM EST THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of southern West Virginia, including the
following county, Fayette.
* WHEN...Until 915 PM EST.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 535 PM EST, the New River gauge at Thurmond indicated a
stage of 19 feet. Minor flood stage is 19 feet.
- At 19 feet, a few homes on WV Route 25 above the Dunglen
camping area begin to flood.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Fayetteville and Thurmond.
