* WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy mixed precipitation. 
  Total snow and sleet accumulations between 3 and 6 inches and ice 
  accumulations between two tenths and three tenths of an inch. 
  Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. For the Lake Effect Snow Warning, 
  heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 
  6 and 12 inches. Winds gusting as high as 60 mph.

* WHERE...Northern Herkimer and Southern Herkimer Counties.

* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 7 PM EST this evening. 
  For the Lake Effect Snow Warning, from 1 AM Monday to 6 AM EST 
  Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Roads will likely become slick and hazardous through 
  this morning resulting in difficult travel conditions. Whiteout 
  conditions are expected tonight through Tuesday and may make 
  travel treacherous.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will continue before transitioning to a 
  wintry mix this morning. Gusty winds along with the weight of snow 
  and ice on trees could result in some downed tree branches leading 
  to some power outages. Heavy lake effect snow will then develop 
  later tonight and continue through Tuesday with the potential for 
  near blizzard conditions at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally 
heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can
