...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM PST THIS
AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Portions of central and northern California, including the
following counties, in central California, Placer. In northern
California, Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado, Nevada, San Joaquin,
Stanislaus, Tuolumne and Yuba.
* WHEN...Until 515 PM PST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1201 PM PST, California Highway Patrol has reported
numerous instances of roadway flooding this morning. Minor
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
- The threat of flooding will continue through the afternoon as
rain redevelops in the advisory area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Auburn, Grass Valley, Placerville, Sonora, Jackson, Paloma,
San Andreas, Cameron Park, El Dorado Hills, Lake Of The
Pines, Ione, Lake Wildwood, Colfax, Fiddletown, Volcano, Pine
Grove, Clinton, Pioneer, Somerset and Drytown.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
