PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Hypothermia, cooling of the internal body temperature, occurs quickly and is often unnoticed by the victim until it is too late. Exposed skin can suffer from frostbite very quickly at these temperatures. If you must venture outdoors, make sure to dress properly for extreme cold. Multiple layers of clothing including outdoor jackets and pants are the best way to stay warm during extreme cold, helping to prevent frostbite and/or hypothermia.
