AM CST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations around 5 
  inches with locally higher amounts.

* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Illinois, mainly near 
  and west of the Illinois River.

* WHEN...From 6 AM Wednesday to 3 AM CST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will 
  likely become slick and hazardous.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in

* WHAT...Mainly snow expected, with patchy freezing rain possible. 
  Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches and a light glaze 
  of ice.

* WHERE...Christian, De Witt, Logan, Macon, McLean, Piatt, Sangamon, 
  Champaign, and Vermilion Counties.

* WHEN...From 6 AM Wednesday to 3 AM CST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will 
  likely become slick and hazardous.

* WHERE...Shelby, Clark, Coles, Cumberland, Douglas, Edgar, 
  Moultrie, and Effingham Counties.

* WHEN...From 6 AM Wednesday to 3 AM CST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous 
  conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
