...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 
6 PM CST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 
  8 inches.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 PM CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous travel conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Accumulating snow will begin after sunset 
  this evening.  The heaviest snow will occur tonight and early 
  Wednesday morning. Accumulating snow will end from west to east 
  late Wednesday morning, by noon.  While strong winds are not 
  expected with this system, easterly to northerly winds at 10 to 25 
  mph may result in periods of blowing and drifting snow.  Wind 
  chill readings as low as 15 degrees below zero are expected this 
  evening through Wednesday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Delay all travel, if possible. If travel is absolutely necessary, 
drive with extreme caution. Be prepared for snow covered roads and 
sudden changes in visibility. Leave plenty of room between you and 
the motorist ahead of you and allow extra time to reach your 
destination. Avoid sudden braking or acceleration, and be especially 
cautious on hills or when making turns. Make sure your car is 
winterized and in good working order.

Travel delays are likely along the Interstate 70 corridor in 
northwest Kansas tonight and Wednesday morning.
