This includes the cities of Kodiak, Akhiok and areas near Chignik and other rural southern coastal locations. * WHEN...Through Monday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Prolonged rainfall may cause wet soils to slide along steep hillsides. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Periods of heavy rainfall is expected over the region through the weekend.
