...COASTAL FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM AKST
FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Water levels as high as 3 to 6 feet above the normal
  highest tide line.

* WHERE...Along the Kuskokwim Delta Coast from the mouth of the
Kuskokwim River to Tununak, including the communities of
  Kwigillingok, Kongiganak, Kipnuk, and Tununak.

* WHEN...Now (Thursday) to Friday morning, coinciding with the
high tide this evening(Thursday)/Friday morning. Potential for
coastal flooding is more likely with the high tide
tonight/Friday morning than yesterday's high tide.

* IMPACTS...Coastal erosion and flooding of low lying areas is
  likely.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southerly to southeasterly winds pick up
this afternoon and peak late tonight into Friday morning. Winds
could gust between 50 to 60 mph during this time. Persistent
southerly winds may lead to storm surge and flooding, despite
tides being lower in the astronomical tide cycle. Winds will
slowly diminish Friday morning and turn westerly during the day.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A coastal flood warning means that flooding is occurring or
imminent. Coastal residents in the warned area should be alert
for rising water, and take appropriate action to protect life and
property.
