...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO NOON CST
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation is occurring. Total snow and sleet 
  accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations around one 
  tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Brooks, Jim Hogg, and Zapata Counties.

* WHEN...Until noon CST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will 
  likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on icy and slippery 
  road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the 
  Monday and Tuesday morning commutes. Sporadic power outages 
  are possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Precipitation will continue to transition
  into freezing rain, sleet and snow before diminishing later 
  this morning. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

* WHAT...Freezing drizzle and sleet expected. Total ice 
  accumulations around a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 
  45 mph.

* WHERE...Inland Cameron County.

* WHEN...Until 3 PM CST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will 
  likely become slick and hazardous. Very slippery sidewalks, 
  roads and bridges are possible. The hazardous conditions could 
  impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds 
  could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Precipitation may transition into freezing
  rain, sleet and snow before diminishing later this morning into
  the early afternoon hours.
