...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO MIDNIGHT 
CST TUESDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Accumulating snow is expected and could be heavy at times. 
  Total snow accumulations of between 2 and 4 inches are possible.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Mississippi.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to midnight Tuesday Night.

* IMPACTS...Roads will likely become snow covered and hazardous to 
  travel. Due to the very cold temperatures well below freezing, any 
  snow accumulating on roadways will result in treacherous 
  conditions. Travel impacts will likely continue well beyond the 
  end of the snow. Weak branches could break, downing power lines in 
  areas of highest snow accumulation posing a risk for isolated 
  power outages.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in 
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for 
the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

...WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH 
TUESDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Accumulating snow in very cold temperatures that could lead 
  to dangerous travel conditions. Accumulations of 2 to 4 inches 
  possible across South Mississippi and Central Louisiana with 
  accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible elsewhere. 

* WHERE...Portions of northeast Louisiana and central, east central, 
  south central, southeast, southwest, and west central Mississippi.

* WHEN...From late tonight through Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will 
  likely become slick and hazardous. Due to the very cold 
  temperatures well below freezing, treacherous road conditions will 
  develop where heavy snow accumulates. Travel impacts will likely 
  continue well beyond the end of the snow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely 
necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter 
storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains, 
booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing. 
Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would help 
you survive in case you become stranded.
