  low as 29. For the first Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind
  chills as low as 19. For the Extreme Cold Watch, dangerously cold
  wind chills as low as 14 possible. For the second Freeze Warning,
  sub-freezing temperatures as low as 28 expected. For the second
  Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 16 expected.
  For the Freeze Watch, sub-freezing temperatures as low as 22
  possible.

* WHERE...Brooks, Jim Hogg, and Zapata Counties.

* WHEN...For the first Freeze Warning and first Cold Weather
  Advisory, until 9 AM CST this morning. For the Extreme Cold Watch,
  from late tonight through Tuesday morning. For the second Freeze
  Warning, from 3 AM to 10 AM CST Tuesday. For the second Cold
  Weather Advisory, from 6 PM Tuesday to 9 AM CST Wednesday. For the
  Freeze Watch, from Tuesday evening through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
  is exposed to these temperatures. Death is possible to unprepared
  people and pets. An extended period of freezing temperatures could
  cause ruptured water pipes. Wind chill values can lead to
  hypothermia with prolonged exposure. Take steps now to finish
  protecting cold sensitive plants and crops. Frost and freeze
  conditions could damage crops, other sensitive vegetation and
  possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go
outside. Death is possible to people exposed to the extreme cold.

Rush to completion prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain
