North central Lee County in southwestern Florida...
* Until 100 PM EDT.
* At 1236 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located over Palmona Park, or near Fort Myers, moving
north at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Cape Coral and Palmona Park around 1240 PM EDT.
Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Fort
Myers Shores, North Fort Myers, Page Field Airport, Tropical Gulf
