The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northwestern Jasper County in east central Mississippi...
  Southeastern Newton County in east central Mississippi...

* Until 100 PM CST.
    
* At 1200 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
  tornado was located near Roberts, or 12 miles southwest of Newton,
  moving northeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Roberts around 1205 PM CST.
  Lawrence and Garlandville around 1215 PM CST.
  Newton around 1225 PM CST.
  Decatur around 1230 PM CST.
  Duffee around 1245 PM CST.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Chunky, Montrose, Louin and Hickory.
