  Northeastern Clay County in southeastern Kentucky...
  Southwestern Knott County in southeastern Kentucky...
  Northern Leslie County in southeastern Kentucky...
  Southeastern Owsley County in southeastern Kentucky...
  Perry County in southeastern Kentucky...

* Until 430 AM EDT.

* At 1241 AM EDT, trained weather spotters reported thunderstorms 
  producing heavy rain in Chavies and Buckhorn. Between 2 and 4 
  inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 
  inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already 
  occurring.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

  Hazard, Vicco, Buckhorn, Avawam, Toulouse, Krypton, Mosley Bend, 
  Confluence, Lamont, Dryhill, Wooton, Chavies, Frew, Kaliopi, Dice,

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
