...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 PM EDT THIS 
AFTERNOON FOR NORTHWESTERN HENRY COUNTY...

At 135 PM EDT, emergency management reported heavy has ended for 
northwest Henry County. Between 4 and 5 inches of rain have fallen 
over the last several hours. However, water has begun to recede, but 
many roads are still closed due to flowing water over the road.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Emergency management.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
         drainage and low lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Bassett, Stanleytown, Fieldale, Sanville, Oak Level and 
  Collinsville.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  Blackberry Creek, Muddy Creek, Smith River, Grassy Fork, Koger 
  Creek, Jordan Creek, Reed Creek, Bull Run, Horse Pasture Creek and 
  Beaver Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

When it is safe to do so, please send your reports of flooding, 
including mudslides or flooded roads, to the National Weather 
Service by calling toll free at 1...8 6 6...2 1 5...4 3 2 4. Reports
