At 1222 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. 5 TO 9 inches of rain have fallen across the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Harlingen, Raymondville, Elsa, Edcouch, Santa Rosa, Lyford, La Villa, Palm Valley, Lasara and Sebastian. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Move to higher ground now.
