At 715 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Oneida, or 7 miles northeast of Seneca, moving northeast at 45 mph. A second severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 10 miles southwest of Du Bois, also moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Weather spotters reported a funnel cloud near Oneida Kansas. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
