SOUTHERN PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY AND THE CITY OF DANVILLE IS CANCELLED...
The heavy rain has ended. Flood waters are receding. Minor flooding
will continue through the morning hours and some roads will remain
closed. Thus, a Flood Warning remains in effect for the City of
Danville and surrounding areas through at least mid-morning Friday
morning. However flash flooding has ended. Please continue to heed
any remaining road closures.
When it is safe to do so, please send your reports of flooding,
including mudslides or flooded roads, to the National Weather Service
by calling toll free at 1...8 6 6...2 1 5...4 3 2 4. Reports and
