...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM EDT FOR
SOUTHERN PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY AND THE CITY OF DANVILLE...
At 926 PM EDT, emergency management reported that Flash flooding is
ongoing and multiple swift water rescues continue in the City of
Danville. Many roads are flooded and under water across the area.
This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!

Blairs...
Cascade...
Ringgold...
and Westover Hills.
This includes The following Location Danville Airport.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Move to higher ground now. This is an extremely dangerous and
life-threatening situation. Do not attempt to travel unless you are
fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
When it is safe to do so, please send your reports of flooding,
including mudslides or flooded roads, to the National Weather Service
