The National Weather Service in State College PA has extended the
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Northwestern Lancaster County in south central Pennsylvania...
* Until 1100 PM EDT.
* At 723 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported ongoing road
closures and high water due to earlier heavy rain across the
warned area, especially in the Manheim, Mount Joy, and Landisville
areas.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
