The National Weather Service in Duluth MN has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Pine County in east central Minnesota...
  Southeastern Carlton County in northeastern Minnesota...
  Southwestern Douglas County in northwestern Wisconsin...

* Until 500 AM CDT

* At 1206 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  torrential rain across the warned area. 

  This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Douglas, Carlton, and Pine 
counties including the cities of Chaffey and  Moose Lake. This is a 
life threatening SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW! 

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Hawthorne, Barnum, Mahtowa, Solon Springs, Gordon, Holyoke,
  Nemadji, Foxboro, Bennett, Sturgeon Lake, Pleasant Valley,
  Nickerson, Moose Lake State Park, Belden, Duquette, Moose Junction,
  Amnicon Lake, Chaffey, Harlis, and Pattison State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to higher ground now. This is an extremely dangerous and
life-threatening situation. Do not attempt to travel unless you are
fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
