The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has extended the
* Flash Flood Warning for...
North central Anne Arundel County in central Maryland...
East central Howard County in central Maryland...
South central Baltimore County in northern Maryland...
* Until 1030 PM EDT.
* At 730 PM EDT, gauge reports indicated heavy rain falling across
the area. Up to three inches of rain have already fallen. Flash
flooding is already occurring with major flooding on the Patapsco
River near Elkridge, and roads closed. Flooding is also occurring
on smaller streams in the area.
* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Elkridge, Catonsville, Arbutus, Brooklyn Park, Pumphrey, Ilchester,
Linthicum and Lansdowne.
