NORTHEASTERN WHITE...SOUTHWESTERN WABASH...SOUTHERN EDWARDS...
SOUTHWESTERN GIBSON AND NORTHEASTERN POSEY COUNTIES...
At 1005 PM CST, a confirmed large and extremely dangerous tornado was
located over Crossville, or 10 miles northeast of Carmi, moving east
at 45 mph.
This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!
HAZARD...Damaging tornado.
SOURCE...Radar confirmed tornado. Radar detected debris near
Crossville, moving toward the Wabash River, and eventually
Griffin. You need to be in your designated storm shelter
now. This is a life threatening situation.
IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may
be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes
will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes,
businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete destruction
is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Grayville, Owensville, Poseyville, New Harmony, Crossville,
Cynthiana, Griffin and Phillipstown.
