...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 PM CST FOR SOUTH
CENTRAL PERRY AND NORTHERN JACKSON COUNTIES...
At 829 PM CST, a large and extremely dangerous tornado was indicated
near Ava, or 12 miles northwest of Murphysboro, moving east
northeast at 45 mph.
This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!
HAZARD...Damaging tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. If you live near Vergennes, you
need to be under ground or in your designated storm shelter.
IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may
be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes
will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes,
businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete destruction
is possible.

Ava, Campbell Hill and Vergennes.
