The featured chart looks at precipitation distribution metrics for March from long term Iowa climate sites. There is no spatial weighting to this analysis, so all sites are equally included. While the mean is not too far from average, values for this year over Iowa range from less than an inch to over five. So not everyone is participating in a wet March thus far.
