The featured image is yesterday afternoon visible satellite imagery and high temperatures. The snow field left from Sunday's storm was a mere county or two wide. The effect of this snow cover can easily be seen with high temperatures warmer on both sides of the snowpack. If you click on the image, there are low clouds shown over Southern Iowa.
