A cold and snowy November comes mercifully to an end today, but another winter storm system is arriving today and will bring accumulating snowfall to northern portions of the state. This year is shown below 40 degrees and joins only a handful of previous years with such as cold a value. There is some hope for some warmer weather by the second week of December, but the near term cold weather is more definite.
