Sunday has seen more than its fair share of tornado reports so far this year with a number more reported yesterday as storms fired along a warm front in the late afternoon. The featured image shows the raw number of tornado reports per day for the past few years and for a 45 year period from 1950 to 1995. It is interesting to note the difference between Monday and Sunday for these past 3 years. There is a chance of storms today with temperatures climbing into the mid 90s.
