  Itawamba County in northeastern Mississippi...
  Eastern Lee County in northeastern Mississippi...
  Northwestern Monroe County in northeastern Mississippi...
  Southern Prentiss County in northeastern Mississippi...
  Southern Tishomingo County in northeastern Mississippi...

* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 401 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms produced 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Booneville, Fulton, Baldwyn, Okolona, Tombigbee State Park, 
  Tishomingo State Park, Guntown, Belmont, Shannon, Plantersville, 
  Mantachie, Smithville, Tremont, Tishomingo, Sandy Springs, 
  Fairview, Pratts Friendship, Evergreen, New Salem and Wheeler.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
