...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM EST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall 
  continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Ohio, including the following 
  counties, Athens, Morgan, Vinton and Washington.

* WHEN...Until 1115 PM EST.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of creeks and streams continues due to excess 
  runoff from earlier rainfall. Numerous roads remain closed due to 
  flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 915 PM EST, gauge reports indicate flooding continues
    along Duck Creek, West Fork Duck Creek, and Little Muskingum
    River.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Athens, Marietta, Belpre, Nelsonville, Glouster, Mcarthur,
    Beverly, Chesterhill, Lake Hope State Park, Newport,
    Chauncey, Buchtel, Lowell, Stockport, Jacksonville, Trimble,
    Zaleski, Macksburg, Amesville and Lower Salem.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
