...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 300 PM CDT
FOR CENTRAL JACKSON...NORTHWESTERN BAY...SOUTHERN WALTON...
SOUTHEASTERN HOLMES AND WASHINGTON COUNTIES...

At 231 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Donalsonville to 9 miles southwest of Vernon,
moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Panama City Beach, Vernon, Chipley, Santa Rosa Beach, Bonifay,
Marianna, Bradford, Live Oak, Malone, Freeport, Cottondale,
Greenwood, Alford, Wausau, Ebro, Campbellton, Bascom, Whitehead
Crossroads, Blue Mountain Beach and Seaside.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 PM CDT for southeastern
Alabama...and the Panhandle of Florida. A Tornado Watch also remains
in effect until 600 PM CDT for southwestern Georgia. A Tornado Watch
also remains in effect until 600 PM CDT for the Panhandle of Florida.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
