...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 AM CDT FOR
PIPESTONE...MURRAY AND MOODY COUNTIES...

At 1253 AM CDT, the river gauge on Pipestone Creek near Pipestone 
has risen 2.5 feet since 10 pm and is now 1 foot over flood stage 
due to heavy rain associated with thunderstorms.  Up to 3 inches 
of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Pipestone, Slayton, Flandreau, Fulda, Edgerton, Jasper, Colman, Egan,
Chandler, Lake Wilson, Ruthton, Currie, Trent, Holland, Woodstock,
Trosky, Dovray, Ward, Lake Shetek State Park and Current Lake.

Additional rainfall amounts of up to 2 inches are possible in
the warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
