The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northern Anne Arundel County in central Maryland...
  East central Howard County in central Maryland...
  South central Baltimore County in northern Maryland...

* Until 800 PM EDT.

* At 504 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
  heavy rain falling across the area and flash flooding along the 
  Patapsco River. River Road is experiencing flash flooding near 
  Catonsville. Three to five inches of rain have already fallen and 
  additional heavy rain is expected over the next hour with an 
  additional 1 to 2 inches expected.

* Please seek higher ground now. 

* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
  Elkridge, Catonsville, Arbutus, Brooklyn Park, Pumphrey, Ilchester,
  Linthicum and Lansdowne.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.
